System Of A Down – Toxicity – piano cover

I just created a category only to post this amazing video. The artist behind it is Vica and her website is http://www.vkgoeswild.com/ . If you like the original song even a little bit, you’re gonna freakin’ love this one. Enjoy.

I like how she put a clock in there so people wouldnt be like "THATS SPED UP FAKEFAKE!" good job by the way. one not, you dont have to flail around to make it look cool, noob

Flail around? Are you talking about how she is playing? I assume that is what you are talking about and if you knew any serious piano players you would notice that probably 95% use their entire body when playing a piano even in a song as light as a peaceful sonata.

Hey, go look up Benjamin Zander's TED talk for the best explanation i've ever seen, "one buttock playing" in reference to Classical musicians (Piano players in particular)

this video kicks ass, would kill to see this live on a Grand Piano, would be spine tingling!

A bit sloppy (especially that last chord), but good nonetheless.

    • J_Spade 22 September 2010 at 12:47 pm Permalink

Lol, in the song he just shouts the last word. There's no chord to play, so she just bashed the keys.

I love this! I actually have some guitar tabs for a song by Chiodos, is there any way that someone could transfer them into sheet music for a tattoo that I've been wanting to get? I've had people try but it just doesn't sound right.

I've played piano for about 22 years now, and I am pretty sure that it is sped up.. I know the clock in the background may be used for proof, but who's to say it isn't set slower than real time and then made to look like seconds once sped up..

This song has amazing musicianship in it and such emotion every stroke of the key has feeling in it. Fantastic job and all you who think it's sped up…get over it did you ever think that she can play it at the speed it's supposed to be played at? Plus the breakdown was a bit slower than it normally is..still a good song.
